Beaconsfield Town Council is pleased to announce that following discussions between them and the Beaconsfield Local Area Forum with Buckinghamshire County Council, as highway authority, that the County Council, has commissioned Transport for Buckinghamshire (TfB) to undertake a review and make recommendations on waiting restrictions to best address the problems currently being experienced in many parts of Beaconsfield.
The review is due to begin on 10th January 2017 and the consultation will close on Monday, 6th February 2017. The review will take the form of a questionnaire being delivered to households as well as the ability to respond via the County Council’s website, so that a full and comprehensive assessment of public views are obtained.
The first stage in the process will be for TfB to undertake an “Opinion Survey” to establish where there are significant issues, in order that potential options can be developed. A further consultation will then be undertaken on any potential measures, before a statutory consultation is undertaken on any final proposed measures.
