The good news is that by most accepted measures Beaconsfield is a low crime town.
Yet lurking below the radar, in communities like Beaconsfield serious organised crime groups are specifically targeting many of our most vulnerable residents, making criminal gains far outstripping those from more traditional crimes like burglary.
With an ageing population without change this can only get worse.
Buckinghamshire localities services are running a workshop on how the Police and local Councils are working together to combat doorstep crime and what steps local people and community organisations can take to help combat this prolific crime .
Date: Monday 20 April 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Place: St Michael and All Angels Church, Warwick Road, Beaconsfield
This workshop is open to everyone – there is no need to register in advance.
It would be helpful if you could email email@example.com so that they have an idea of numbers.
